im plaining to get some grado hf-2's. i was wondering if i don't like them how much would the resale value be?

HF2s will be pretty much the best resale you can get on any headphone, since they're limited edition. You'll be able to get what you paid for them back once they are discontinued.
 
That said, they were supposed to be limited to 500 in the first place.... if you read the grammatically incorrect TTVJ thread on them, you'll see. One sold for almost $750 at one point.

As revolink said, they sell very well. The HF2 should do particularly well for resale. You could always wait until they are all gone and sell it for what you bought it for or more or sell it within a week or so and lose very little.
 
I sold a SR60i on here a little while back and it was gone in a couple of hours.
