Can you replace the pads on these headphones? I really like the headphones but the comfort isn't too great. I have glasses and the headphones give me pain in the sides of my head. Can someone tell me how to replace these pads with velour pads? I heard the DT250 pads work with these but I don't know how to remove the padding on the DJ1's and I'm a bit hesitant because I might break them.

A lot of Ultrasones have pads that comes off easily if you twist it to counter-clockwise I think. Does the DJ1 have that feature ?

No it doesn't have that feature...
Only the Pro series has that..
I am afraid that if the OP changes the pleather ones with velour he is going to lose that punchy bass impact and alter the sound...
Haven't tried any velour pads though so i can't suggest any..
