those are the new ones i have tried in that batch, i think my treble aversion is significantly worse than i thought it was

https://parcelup.com/shop/item.php?id=629442135840, haven't tried this one yet
https://parcelup.com/shop/item.php?id=20039954602, hoping this one, "ham radio", "mud" is better
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002051388733.html, but the cresyn transparent film is still my favourite so far
Yeah, the only good 14.8mm driver is proper 150 red-films IMHO. The second driver you listed can sound 'decent' with tons of back pressure, but still doesn't get close to 150 red-film--and red films get wiped clean by most 15.4mm divers IMHO.

Sharing my diy buds 300 ohms blue pet. Loving this neutral sound. Adding a 0.8mm hole in the blocked vent(back of the cable) of the shell makes punchy lows, meaty vocals and airy highs. I am using a shell with an engraved L/R on it btw.

Even though it is your subjective opinion, this write up was really useful! I’ve had the wooden shells and 64 Ohm Comp Ti drivers in my cart for a while. I’ll order them now. Got to try them out! Thanks!
Hey @Gifting, have you finished your wooden buds?

Sort of, but only in its stock form. I drilled an extra hole in the back (since the post mentioned the driver’s tuning would change drastically with extra breathability). It sounds alright, no offensive peaks, although a bit muffled.

I haven’t tuned it properly yet.
Started school and an internship around the time they arrived. Right now I’m tuning another bud with the Tingo TG-38s driver (19 iterations so far, will post a graph afterwards). Once I’m finished with the other bud, I’ll probably start on this one (thanks for reminding me).

Some good DIY parts stores on Ali are closed for good.

Thats a shame. guess ill start with the 32ohm n52 blue glue. Have any other suggestions for my first few builds? My only earbud experience is the VE Monk Plus.
It's OK. If you're starting with this hobby, go with a few cheaper drivers, buy some tuning materials and play with tuning and perfect your soldering skills.
When you are satisfied with results, and you will be if you are patient  , then go with "exotic" drivers

These are great looking. Do they fit alright in the ear though with that type of casing?
