I was wondering if the packages without remotes were refurbs or was there a period when iRiver did not include remotes in the original packaging?
Did the iHP1xx series have w/ remote and w/o remote packaging?

There was a H120D/H140D version that came without the remote.

Yes, they H120D doesn't come with remotes. I'm assuming you just recently purchased the unit from one of the two eBay outlets that sells the ihp1xx series.

yes, the D version were the UK ones, and i believe they were just in that champagne color. methinks...
