I plugged in the DF in the Note 2. 
 
Note obviously recognizes it as the internal speaker stops playing and the DF turns red.  However, no audio comes out of the DF, even the softest amount, THe headphone jack on the Note 2 still works.   So it is not completely recognizing the DF.
 
I am using Spotify. 
 
Anyone knows the reason and how to resolve this?
