Advice appreciated, had the DT 990 Pro and I loved the sound quality - absolutely loved it. But it recently died on me due to the cable so looking for something detachable preferably. Though I am eyeing the Denon D2000, the only thing holding me back is lack of detachable cable and I'm predominantly looking for something that won't break within 2 years. And something open sounding with good bass. I quite like an airy treble too.
 
If only Beyer did a DT 990 with a detachable cable I'd be all set lol. Sigh....
