A confused audiophile/basshead who loves the clarity of the HD380. I haven't heard the Ultrasone 550 yet, but want the extra bass based on reviews. Does anyone know if the clarity and sound signature of the Ultrasone 550 is comparable to the Sennheiser HD 380? Should the Denon D1100 figure into the mix as an option to the Ultrasone 550? Do you think the Amperior or VModa M-100 would be worth waiting for as an alternative? I hear they are coming out in July.
