I need to decide between these two amps in the next few weeks but I find there is so little info on the 332s other than its better compared to the 336c.
I know the LD1+ is really great for Grado but is the 332s equally good? The reason I consider the 332s is because in the future, it will most likely drive HD650s or AKG Q701 well unlike the LD 1+.
Also heard that the first gen DV 332s also has a hum, is this something I would actually know during listening?
Price for LD 1+ is $80 new while the DV 332s used is $250 without any tubes so its quite a price gap. I am concerned that I would be jumping into the 332s without any equipment that needs it right now, especially since my primary concern by far is my RS1i.
Please help me decide!
