I'm planning to upgrade my rig to balanced in the future and looking to upgrade the DAC first. After using the search function, decided between DAC1 and DA11 but not sure which one is better. I prefer to have the USB input but most of the time will be feed from my CD transport. I'm currently using WA6 and plan to upgrade to WA22. Headphone I'm using is HD800, W5000, DX1000, and JH13PRO. I had the gamma2 and love it and looking for similar signature.
Headphone out from the DAC is not really important, I do plan to use it but not quality is not a deal breaker.
