I want to connected my PC xfi prelude with toslink:
-> DAC (toslink in to XLR balanced out) - > tube pre-amp with XLR in/out
-> Dynaudio BM5A active monitors XLR in
I was thinking of the apogee mini-dac and using a little dot MKIV SE as a pre-amp however it doesn't have balanced XLR output.
Is there a good tube pre-amp (<$1000 ) with XLR in/out?
Is there something better for my setup?
