i have these great sounding CyberAcoustics speakers that were given to me as a christmas present. i get home to find THIS:

the top speaker has been damaged, and the sound is VERY distorted coming out of this side. my little brother has been the only one using these for the past week, but he wont tell me what he did. i really need this to be fixed, so if any of y'all have a suggestion on how to get that bump pushed back out, id LOVE it. (ive already tried unscrewing the back to get at it, but the screws wont budge.)

only problem now, (they sound perfect, this is just me being OCD) is that my previous attempt involved super glue, i got most of it off with my fingernail, but theres a little bit left over on the dome. any recommendation on how to get THAT off? also, GO BAND!

Try taking a nail filer and file away the rest. I don't know of anything that would dissolve it but anything that would, would probably damage the speaker in the process.
