Just picked up a pair of UM Shure 530x6 and was wondering if there is a company that will convert it to universal? I know I could go custom but it's more expensive, more difficult to deal with, and hurts re-sale value...so I definitely no doubt want a universal shell.

Any help here? I see that more and more IEM makers are doing universal shells but haven't heard back from any of them.

Thanks!

  Did you ask UM ?

I just did. Waiting to see what they have to say back.

Heir Audio just said they would try. I really like their universals style but as they said in the email, they don't know how good they can do since it isn't their stuff. They we're actually kind of hesitant but agreed to do so anyways so I might just go with them. All for $129 which is cheap from what I can gather.

Could try emailing 1964 ears to see if they would do it. They build universals of their own models so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch I'd of thought.
