My friend has a DAC which has inside a CS8414 receiver. So, theoretically, according to its datasheet, it should play 96 kHz sampling rate maximum. However, when my friend sets his DSP plugin in Foobar (SSRC) to upsample up to 192 kHz, this DAC still plays music. How can it be possible? He uses a soundcard Terratec Aureon 7.1
