Hello all!

I am working on building a hybrid amp that then outputs to a distribution amp for 4 sets of cans.

I wanted to keep the hybrid amp cheap/simple, so I'm going with the Oatley Electronics preamp/headphone amp.

I've seen that with opamps (via headwize), the distribution amp routes the source through resistors in part bypassing the preamp:

Would that be necessary for a hybrid amp? My opamps for the distribution section would be somewhere in the vicinity of OPA2107, NMJ4556 (AKA JRC4556), AD8620, etc.
What am I overlooking or doing wrong?

I'm pretty new to building my own circuits and my friend asked me if I could build one for his studio.

Anyway, please, find the fatal flaws in my plans.

Thanks!
