He has always treated me well with vacuum tubes as have other friends so this is my small way of thanking him. I also just used up some parts and built my last two pairs of mini radial speakers. I have two vintage turntables on the way as well as a vinyl collection. I need the space to refurb said tables and run the vinyl through my ultrasonic cleaning system.

There are several ways to go about it, here I used one inch thick birdseye maple and the lower portion of the plinth is filled with potters plaster, then sand. I later set the whole table on a granite slab after a great deal of cushioning.
