For sure sum sellers are crazy, perhaps he has the Plenue D so high right now as he has a monopoly on it...
Well, that seller's prices were inflated as to all items. An m2 is about $150 on amazon but it was about $220 on that seller's page. If the Plenue D ends up around $400, then is the AK Jr at around $410 a better deal?
Cowon D is going to be 400 AUD, AK Jr is 799 AUD. I know what has my attention more.
I did like my AKJr but I got it for 340 aud which is reseller purchase price value.
I can forget the "C2/D2/D2+/M2"-like hardware features, including the ****ty screen, but if it is still 32Gb with a micro-SDHC slot (=32Gb max), this makes absolutely no sense unless it's below 300$. 50h+ battery when you have a miserable 32Gb capacity: no better than the 4 previous siblings...
A&K has done a fine fine job making prices explode for so-called "hi-res" DAPs.
I'm still puzzled how one can sell "hi-res" for 500$+ with anything less than 128Gb. It's not like hi-res music is taking less space, even a modest flac song is 5-6 times larger than the mp3 version.
You can get a 200Gb microsd for less than 150$ but manufacturers still propose 32-128Gb as the standard internal capacity...
this really looks nice as most pointed out.
does this have micro-sd?

Yes it does! According to website it accepts 128GB.
Did anyone purchased this from ebay? : http://www.ebay.com/itm/COWON-PLENUE-D-Digital-Media-Player-MP3-HiFi-LCD-Touch-2-8-FLAC-APE-SilverBlack-/180697685802?hash=item2a126bdf2a:g:704AAOSwbdpWXvft
I have a feeling that price is severely marked up. Based on the Korean price and the Australian price, it should be $260 in USD.
