Which one has better sound, the Cowon D2 or the SanDisk Sansa Fuze?
For playing flac files.

Thinking of trying something new as both have expansion slots and support Flac.

Any thoughts?

Beat me to it. I was just thinking of asking this question today. Im (finally) planning to get rid of my e250, and am torn between the D2 and the fuze.

Since I've had both:

The Fuze. The Fuze has no bass rolloff and sounds less digital than the D2. However both do sound similar and the D2 has significantly more features sound tweak wise and is better build quality wise. The Fuze has a better looking interface but the D2 had a better functional interface. If you want SQ and little else, go the Fuze. If you like to tweak your sound and don't mind the sub 60Hz bass rolloff, the D2.
