I never thought something so opposite could work so well. The Psychedelic Furs (as with the entire New Wave era) were all about note-perfect, polished arrangements engineered to within an inch of their lives ... and here comes Robyn Hitchcock, unapologetically crooning something about The Ghost in You while hacking away on the acoustic. And yet it's beautiful.
