I really don't want to be stuck using a cable adaptor for these, so I'm wondering if anyone feels up to recabling them with either a Stax cable, or a DIY low-capacitance cable terminated in a Stax 5-pin plug. The stock cable isn't particularly good anyway.

Any help would be most appriciated, as I really lack the required skills (or any skills at all for that matter) to do it myself.
