I am resurrecting this because I need some advice. just got a ZuperDAC (new crowd funding flash drive size DAC) and it's not working with my S3 even though the company website specifically lists it as compatible. the problem i'm having is intermittent and it is either a static-y/juttering sound or a tinny/digitized/phasey sound. clean sound does come out occasionally, but it doesn't last long. it happens with the stock Galaxy music player as well as the Poweramp app. Android software is 4.4.2 and i'm using a generic USB OTG cable (from monoprice.com). is there something i'm doing wrong by chance?
 
(i also have a message in to the dac mfr and am waiting for a reply)
