Seems like the new Thorens company will finally come up with the long-awaited new classic model, now called TD 350, which supposedly will be presented on the High End fair in Munich next week. The table itself looks very much like an old TD 320, but the belt now seems to go around the outer rim of the platter instead of an inner platter - and it will come with a Rega arm instead of a classic Thorens arm. Alas, no info on the price, yet...

Sure is a nice looking table... probably reasonable to assume it sounds pretty good, too

Not a very nice try, I'm afraid. Damned if I'll pay $3600CDN for a mass-produced turntable. I'll buy a Teres or Redpoint instead (or just happily continue using my TD126 Mk.III)

Yup, it's a pity. I exspected maybe half of that maximum, but 2400 Euro... *sigh* Well, gladly enough, there's still Phonosophie (http://www.phonosophie.de/Plattenspieler.html) for those searching for a classic Thorens new...
