Didn't find a specific thread on this, so here it goes:

Which DAC sounds better through digital, the gamma-1 or the D10?
I'm about to buy one of them.
If the D10 is better, I'll get that and going to use its amp too. if gamma-1 is better I get that and get an other amp.

So which is the better DAC using coax, whatcha think ?

I own both of these units. I've never listened to either through coax, since my MacBook isn't capable of it, but I have listened via optical and USB.

To my ears, I prefer the sound of the D10. The D10 has a warmer sound to it, which I prefer. The y1 seemed a bit treble heavy with fatiguing highs. I'm using an M3 as my amp though, not the D10's amp.
