Sounds like the seller doesn't have his/her act together.  There are members selling it for less in the forums.  They go for $249 at reputable places, with warranty intact, and you will get the color you want.

Wait your right about the seller not having their act together, can't guarantee your color and will be open to check its working, so there new but you have to make sure they work.
