Can't speak for mad dogs sq, but I do have a stock fostex t50rp (mad dogs unmodded) with the mad dogs comfort strap and stuffed earpads as well as having tried the mad dogs at a meet without anything running through them.  They are comfortable!  Their isolation is also unmatched by anything else I've tried if that matters to you.  My stock fostex sounds great at the 100$ mark and mad dogs improve on that so I would imagine that they would be a good bet
