I went to audition the 660s and pretty much decided I was going to get a pair. Until I took them off while music was still playing. They leak like small speakers.
I can only use them in a quiet room by myself. This has caused me to pause.

Before I pull the trigger, I was wondering if there was a closed-back alternative with a similar neutral-sounding signature to the 660s.

DCA Aeon RT closed is basically a HD650 with better bass.
Tonality wise that puts it close to the HD660s in mids and treble, but not a perfect match.

Thanks for that. I need to check them out. Maybe I can find a place here to audition them. I'm not particularly fond of the 650's warm sound signature.

something rather neutral like the 660s that has been greatly renowned and could def find over half price used is the Ether C flow by Dan Clark/Mr Speakers
