im going to get a couple of headphones these coming months. Probably a headphone or two every month. i just got my ms2 and planing to get the k702 dt990 dt880 dt770. at first i was hesitant to get an amp but many say that its pointless to have these cans with out the proper amplification. so here are the major points i want my future amp/dac to cover, a clean sound and enough juice.
i was thinking that i would let cans do all the work in the coloring of sound, defining soundstage etc. all i want is the proper amount of power for these cans to shine on their own.
from research im currently considering the cantante or darkvoice 336.

you can check th e headroom website..they are having a sale on the micro amps and dac and i don't sure but maybe onthe ultra micros also.
the ultra micro amp is wonderful and will drive all these cans with authority.
i enjoy it very much with my ah-d5000 and grado rs-1.
and enjoy your new purchases mate!

thanks plonter, i just checked it out. the only problem is they are still 333 usd with no amplication. another 333 for the amp itself its a little over my budget.
