Has anyone found a consistently reliable way of bypassing AirPlay on iOS devices? I managed it once, and got glorious hi-res and DSD from the Poly's SD card, but never again.

FWIW, I generally use hotspot mode and Glider, but I'm happy to try any other config that is shown to work.

Lovely. I have the K10s also and they match beautifully with the mojopoly but definitely get upgrade cables as they really enhance the sound.

Enter Polys ip address, say for example, 192.168.1.x. X= Number from 1-255

Or you can enter the name of your Poly.

Example, mine is named Chord Poly.

Try and find polys ip, it should be similar to the above or depending on what router you are using, it could also start with a 10 or 172.

But 192.168.1.x is likley to be the one you use.

This is setting up an MPD client on your PC to play back files from the MPD server on the Poly (that reside on Poly's SD card). From your description that doesn't sound like what you want to do?

yes.. exactly.. my problem is, DSD 256 files could not be played via Poly.. all other files can be played via Poly using JRiver Media Center as my source.

Im not familiar with PC apps that will stream DSD256 - but you can play them so long as they reside directly on Poly's local SD card using eg Cantata for PC (which is what you were setting up) or MALP for Android. I just wanted to make sure you weren't misunderstanding!

all my music files are stored in an external hard drive which i use as my music library. im using the JRiver Media Center as my audio player. all music files, i can play them via streaming thru Poly, ecxept DSD 256 files.

You will find it a problem to stream DSD natively to Poly. DLNA/uPnP (currently) doesn't support it. Airplay won't ever support it.
