Hi guys, im looking into reshelling universal IEMs into custom fit one, and am hoping to do it myself. Ideally i would like to have them with a removable cable and it would also make the overall process easier. Eventually im looking to try it with my PFE232s however i would like to make a test run incase anything goes wrong. Budget wise, i dont really have one in mind, im looking for the cheapest thing possible, as quality of sound etc is not a factor, this is purely a test run.

I believe that the Shure SE215 is the cheapest IEM that has a removable cable.

If you can find the Super.fi 3 or Altec Lansing UHP 336.

can get the se215 for about £70...might gives those a shot.

every IEM has a removable cable, only with some you can't re-attach the cable again

also technically if sound isnt a factor you can buy the sockets, and just use a generic iem.

They are the cheapest IEMs with the excellent Shure socket and have top-notch built quality (the housings of the SExx5 series are really well crafted).
Unique in the sub-100£ category.
