I like to listen to music in bed, but I don't want to get up to adjust pesky things like the volume or next track while I'm falling asleep. I'd like a little remote like those mac people have. Also, Foobar compatibility is as must.

I would prefer one that isn't too line of sighty, but if IR is a must, then it's okay.

Go go gadget head-fi!

I use a "cheap" presenter. It gives me volume/pause/play/next and previous.

2.4g wireless (so it works anywhere in the house) and usb so there is no need to install any drivers.

this is the one I have

Staples.com®. that was easy®.

EDIT: One note of warning: the plug-and-play presenters have harcoded buttons (meaning you have to match foobars keyboard shortcuts to the particular buttons). Some of the MS presenters run software that will allow you to customize the buttons however you like. I prefer not having to run the drivers/software, but it could be a nuisance for some. Shift-B is pause/play, so if I run a "Global" shortcut, I cannot type in a capital "B" when foobar is running. Makes it hard to tag Springsteen songs (LOL).
