Cheap headphones for iPod

I'm not very experienced but I have to say I have been mightily impressed with the Creative EP-630.

They blow iBuds out of the water, and sound very detailed - better than any other pair of headphones I've owned (don't get upset guys, I've only ever owned the earphones that came with my audio devices before now - although I expect this is about to change in a major way).

However, If you don't want any isolation you may have to look elsewhere, as these close off a fair amount of outside noise.

At any rate, this is easily the best $30 +tax I've spent in recent memory.

the ksc 75 is the best damn earphone in your price range

go try it, you will not regret it. since it's just $20, you can get yourself a marshmallow or an ep-630 for times when you need isolation.

Without even hearing most IEMs, I can safely say the most recommended IEMs at around $20-$30 on Head-Fi are the EP630 and Marshmellows.

If isolation is not super important, the KSC75 can knockout pretty much anything under $50.

KSC75 is excellent excellent excellent, but it has no isolation.

Some good choices, though it sounds like you want something smaller, would be the Audio Technica SJ5 and the Equation Audio RP-15mc.

You might also consider marshmallows or CX300.

Good that you got the cx300 and not the ep630, to my ears they are crap, I just dont know why people keep recommend those.

Now just go and get your self a pair of ksc75!!! They almost makes me cry of pleasure!

My HD650 does not get much time since I bought the ksc75, I'll guess the 650 has to go!

Creative EP630 or Senn CX300 ???

I have no experience with either, but I do know every thread about these two say they sound very, very similar, even rumored to be the exactly same earphones.
