Hi guys, I need a new headphone (mine is in the process of going to the garbage now...) but here are some things to consider:
- I can't go over this price tag (I still have to consider the shipping to Brazil, which usually costs about 30 bucks)
- It needs to be confortable
- It needs to be durable
- It needs to be big, the full sized ones i think (I'm a big guy, but don't have any kind of notion about size of ears and such, so I need to be sure that it won't hurt me with prolongued use, like gaming sessions :p)
- Quality of sound and all that counts as a plus, I don't really need it but if the headphone have a good quality, then all the better :D

From a basic research I kinda of liked
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/10-earphones-100-dollars,1564-10.html

But I saw some reviews from people saying it's not very durable.

Other ones that got good sugestions (even though I find them a bit small XD)

Isn't the Sennheiser HD-203 a bit small?

The EH-350 seems ok, but Amazon does not ship to Brazil (and in other places it's way over US$50)

Any other suggestions? (I will give a better look in the HD-203, but I want to know my options anyway :p)

Looked for both of them on ebay, only found a couple of JVC, costing more than fifty. Panasonic however, I did find, but wasn't from a top seller :p (I need to look for another store or website that is confiable and ships to Brazil).

Heya,

Check out the HP-HTF600.

I picked one up for review, sounds great, built rather well, looks decent, sounds like way more than it costs. Excellent budget phone.

Very best,

This one ships to Brazil (through "Good as New Eletronics")
And that leads me to two questions:
1- Is this store secure? (Since I believe Amazon is only the middle man in this, the store needs to be secure)
2- Found some other headphones in the store, and to me the prices that I found seems a bit off... however, to US standards it might be ok :p. So any tips about the following cans:

PS: Also, can I believe all items on Amazon are the real deal? (To avoid the fake panasonic headphones and all that)

Heya,

I just wanted to gush a little and spread this out... the Panasonic HP-HTF600 sounds like an equalized Sony XB500 (raised mids & highs), completely smooth, yet warm and bassy as all get out. They are actually very well built, they use sturdy good plastic and are not flimsy at all. The cups are actually pretty large and the whole headphone in general is of the larger size. The sound stage is quite impressive, they're angled large drivers with vents. They sound semi-open frankly. These things are absolutely awesome for $30. I can't believe they're not a $100 headphone.

Anyone on a budget who wants a smooth listen with monster bass, these things are seriously it.

I'm wearing a pair right now. The bass is out of control. Yet I'm still hearing instruments and vocals. Really fun headphone.

This panasonic is superior to the Kickers, Monoprice & XB500 even. Yea, I'm starting a fire challenging the XB500, but there ya go, I did it.

Very best,

I believe it's almos the same size in comparison with the Panasonic HP-HTF600, but what about built and sound quality? (If both are equals, the one from sony is easier for me to import :p)

Anyone?

Edit: I bought that one from Sony, when I receive it, I give you guys some feedback

Edit2: Ok, received it, and I'm very satisfied so far, the only "downside" is that I don't feel any changes between movie mode and music mode :p

Thx for all your reply guys :)
