$500 seems a bit steep. Maybe some DIYers could chime in as to the value equation here.

I don't know the exact driver they used but this looks similar

Your looking at $100 with no cabinet and crossover.

Since it's being treated like a fullrange there really is no xover. So you're looking at $100 + Cabinet costs.

Pretty so-so if you ask me . . . at that price there's a lot better IMO.

Well, that is really a very nice design for a speaker and first time i know for a speaker in a ceramic enclosure. It is not bad to test this speaker, but the price is to high to try.
