I'm planning on buying a budget CDP with digital output to use with my DacMagic. Is there any recommendation for one with price of about $50?

for $50 your only options are older CDPs or a DVD player

Just get a cheap DVD player with a toslink output, even Blu-Ray has come down to $100 or so

Thanks for all replies guys! I went ahead with a PowerBook 15" for $375 for portable use since my laptop is way to heavy and thankfully it has optical output
