Someone have posted the first impression on armature. and PLA13 looks really cheaply made. Sound impressions are not very promising according to him.

I'm happy to hear it's "V" shaped, aggressive and less warm. That fits with the published graph: prominent sub bass, aggressive pina gain and well extended treble. I'm also hoping for a contrast from my P1 Max.

I don't expect it to beat Timeless or Hooke X either. It's $65, I'll be more than happy if it sounds better than Kirin, Muse or original P1.

I would wait for more reviews before making any judgement calls. One review shouldn't determine the outcome, IMHO.

Personally, I never had the expectation that the 50€ CCA PLA13 should outperform (but at least equal) planars priced around 150€. I think that would be unrealistic. It would be quite enough if they were competitive against quality hybrids and DDs in their price range. I think it's reasonable to wait for serious reviews.

I'll be getting my PLA13 in 3 to 4 days and I can compare them to my "one-of-a-kind" Z12. So, quick impressions will be coming from me, soon...

Pla13 is ($60) and wu zetian is ($160)

At that price difference, if the difference aint much, pla13 is a pretty good choice

I always welcome transparant shells. I think they are coolest shell design in the world. Love my moondrop s8 shell as well
