They're pretty much compact and more flush to the ears when compared to ZSN PRO, C16, C10, A10, CA4 and surely the latest ZSX. That's a big improvement for CCA coming from a 12 driver unit (6 driver unit per side). At least my photos below with my ZSX and my C12 don't lie...
I like both for their uniqueness, but I got to go with the "brush metal" look of the C12. The ZSX looks kind of like a retro looking RV. Even though I like them, I can't wear them for more than 20 minutes at a time, if you ask me.
anyone with a pair of Guiderays Gr-i and TRN V90 can compare with the CCA C12?
My C12 should arrive in a week hopefully, but I'm wondering for 11/11 if one of those 2 other options is worth grabbing.
C12 arrived this morning and OOTB, it's impressive.
Compared to the KZ Zs10 pro, it does not have that steely tone to the treble. The treble is nice and so far no sibilant tones.
The bass is low, not as tight as the KZ but tight enough for me.
Nice free cable thrown in too from CCA store on AliE.
...Openness, airiness, separation, imaging and layering, but personally one of the best I've ever heard with top micro-details with a quick lower bass punch!

Lol I have the same setup tho I am using ZSX and BLON more than C12. For me, the mid range peak on the C12 makes the crash cymbals more prominent thus it can sometimes irritate me after awhile. The BLON is like a smoother version of C12 imho. If you like to listen to songs with a lot of cymbals, the BLON is probably the best sounding from the three.
