Oh my photo

Mine were dispatched on the 18th and have just been accepted by the airline in China, so it is taking a while (by contrast my **** finally were dispatched yesterday, after a month of waiting).
Really looking forward to comparing them to my C10, AS10 and ZS7.

Still looking around for a good balanced cable, instead of the 4-core KZ silver plated cables I'm using now, which are nice but a bit thin.

But clearly one of the best under 100$. Unfortunately I don't have kanas pro. Just nicehcN m6 but more airy, less details and impact. Very different. And macaw gt600s which is technically more limited

I've been swapping back and forth with the medium star line default ear tips and the medium Auvio silicone ear tips, and the Auvio ear tips are a dream combination, no joke! So, if you have a pair of Auvio ear tips laying around, you must try them!
The combination is seriously tuned to please your senses!

I use the medium ones pictured in the center. They look very similar in color to the housing of the C16. You may want to even call it a perfect match made in sound signature heaven!

I have the BGVP DM6 and love it. Also ordered the Kanas Moondrop Pro, but it's from Massdrop so it won't ship until March. Guess we'll see whether the C16 or KPE gets here first... Anyways, comparisons and impressions to come.

My C16's have arrived at Amsterdam airport yesterday. I hope I'll receive them before saturday.

My upgrade cable arrived today. It's a perfect match for impedance, I reduced the volume on my Fiio A5 amplifier to low gain. There's more width, depth and height in the soundstage and everything seems more in focus. Definitely a good buy. The stock cable does hold back what the C16 is capable of. Here's the link:

Cables are a valid way to upgrade iems in my opinion. The 3 I have all do wonders to the sound, they can get costly but if you find one you like and can easily afford it I generally grab it now after hearing the difference. Fun stuff in my book!

CCA C16 is a beast and I love it. Using it on high or low gain on a dap provides slightly different results, which I like. But...throwing on a Ifi iematch is a really good way to get an equally wonderful sound signature from the iem. I don't usually suggest the iematch, because it usually "dulls" the sound of an iem (my take). The C16, though, sounds great through it. Everything gets very evenly balanced and keeps that wonderful detail. I use it when I go to bed listening to C16 and it's very nice.
