I think NO for bluetooth and YES for digital output

Will need confirmation from Cayin regarding Coax.  N5 has 3 outputs on the top, 3.5mm and 2.5mm for HO and one other.  I'm pretty sure that one is LO and perhaps it's shared with Coax?

Shared socket on the Fiio X5ii required a four pole 3.5 connection that is difficult to get hold of in a short coax cable.

Maybe if more DAP makers use the 4-pole, combo LO/Coax thing, 3rd party cables will become more widely available...

Lol, we don't even know for sure if it does have a combined jack and we're going on about custom cables. :D

Vartan is 99% sure :)

I won't consider any further DAP (including Fiio x5ii that I really liked) until there is a matching coax cable available as good as the current DX90 one supplied free by iBasso. If DAP manufacturers want their coax socket easily usable, why put on a non-standard hybrid socket without supplying a one-piece cable? Or better two! One for portable DAC use (male rca) and one for connecting to 75ohm coax cable for HiFi connection (female rca).

I know what I'm saying

 (there will be coax 100%)

by the way two cables is a good idea!

There you go, we have gone up a percentage to 100%, LOL

N5 have LO.PO. balance and coaxial output, which will share an LO and coaxial interface through the menu function selection switch, four outputs can not take effect at the same time.

N5 also be used for DAC or digital interface to use. Support decoding USB transmission Dop, and we are still trying to form Dop coaxial output(DSD64), which includes N6 included, if in the end we do that, we can through a firmware to update.

Sorry if I have missed this: has it been confirmed if N5 will be a single- or dual-AKM4490 implementation?

Single

AKM4490 is a dual channel DAC, so using one is like having a double, just depends on how it was implemented, in single or dual mode. Cayin hasn't confirmed that yet though I'm hoping for dual.
