Quick question... Is cat-5 cable a good choice for DIY RCA?

I need to make a one-in 3 out "Y" cable to distribute my line out to 3x different amps.

thanks!!

While the question never made it to the DIY section, the answer is:
The electrical qualities for a good RCA unbalanced analog audio interconnect are:

a]  Low end to end resistance of the shield/return.
b]  Good interference shielding.
c] For longer cables, reasonable capacitance.

So a Cat5 cables fails on points 'A' & 'B'.

Stick with a coax cable with a heavy braided shield.

yess... cat-5 doest have shielding. the best signal cable is have shield.

Ive built tons of custom RCA cables. Mostly for car audio applications with Neutrik ends. Cat5E cables work fine in a car audio environment were there is almost always more interference with signal than in a home application.

thankyou whitedragon. i love cheap cable with good quality. now my set-up much using sata cable. :)
can you help me with my other question. talking about lod to usb.
i have a little confused about lod with capacitor and resistor. if you have link from headfi thread talking about diy lod. can you send my the link.
thank you :)
