Hello!
 
I have a vioelectric dac v800 that I cannot figure out why it won't work in linux. Im running Manjaro 0.8.13.1 Ascella.
 
The device works great in fedora and ubuntu distros.
What am I missing here? Tried different mixers but it won't show up.
 
Any tips are greatly recieved, getting late and wan't to listen to my headphones

What does aplay -l give you?

Also try dmesg after you plug it in to see if there are issues with the USB interface.

Another thing to look out for: do you run PulseAudio? With some devices PA can interact very badly...
