So, I'm looking for a balanced amplifier to pair with a DAC1 USB. I have narrowed my search down to these two amps. Without the DAC built-in, the HeadRoom Balanced Desktop costs around the same amount as the NX-33. I can't decide which to purchase. It seems that by virtue of crossfeed and adjustable gain settings, the HeadRoom amp is more feature-laden. From reading a review on 6moons, the reviewer seems to regard the HR as the better bass performer, a plus for pairing with the DAC1. But he also raved about the 'total music' approach of the Rudistor amp.

I would be using the amp with a pair of Enigma Oracle balanced HD650s and 1/2 MarkL modded single-ended D5000s. I listen to everything from hip hop to jazz to rock to world music.

I'm really not sure which way to go. I would appreciate the counsel of anyone that has personal experience with either of these two amps.
