I currently have Audioengine D1and like to try other DAC + Headphone AMP.  I mostly listen Jazz and Classical music.  Which of Audio-GD should I get for my music genre between NFB 11.32 and NFB 15.32?

IMO the 11.32 seems more interesting with its ES9018 DAC chip.

Same spot. I decided to go with the dual WM8741 as they are considered to have a fuller round bottom end as opposed to the Sabre ES9018 which is thought to be "reference quality, neutral". As I like to tap my toes and dive into my music, I like the WM, BB, and my fav 627 opamp.

Sabre is now considered the newest FOTM, however, surprisingly the WM chips are more money when ordered in Kingwa's DAC's. Probably because there are two of them.

Just my opinion. I am considering the NFB-12.0 vs the 15.32. Whatever you do decide, remember to enjoy the music. And if ordering directly from Kingwa, be sure to ask any questions prior to ordering. He is very good in responding to my stupid questions.

Well, I already have the Rega Dac, which has the Wolfson WM8742 chip. Paired with a tube amp, it does induce foot-tapping to music :)

But I thought, if only to compare, maybe I ought to go for the Sabre in my next headphone amp. Trouble is, there is so much bewildering variety in Kingwa's site that I can't quite make up my mind. Is a dac-amp combo the best choice? Or will a bit more cash buy a better solo dac-solo amp pairing?

Decisions, decisions...

What? The WM versions of his DACs are always cheaper than the Sabre ones.

True cos 2 WM8741 are cheaper than one Sabre 9018

I doubt why didn't consider the PCM1704 based products, it is obviously that Kingwa has lot of know-how and experience on this chip and considering this is the best option in SQ.

Any further recommendations or impressions for a confused buyer

I'm not sure if the extra $75 dollars is worth it for the Sabre.

Anyone care to help me choose one?

I do not own any of these devices, but I am thinking of getting one of them. As far as I know, 15.32 has warmer sound than 11.32. So it probably depends mainly on the headphones which you want to use. For example, for Sennheiser HD 600 it is better to take 11.32, while for AKG K701 you should choose 15.32.
