There was a time when the ESS DAC was ground breaking. Who ever this DAC manufacturer is, it seems he believes this DAC co. is equally as impacting on digital audio performance. I'm looking forward to see and HEAR what he comes up with.
Let's not get too far out in front of this. These are "Idea" plans with DACs. What's real, "something you could purchase this year" is the Spark, Tungsten, Platinum & Ambiance ...all analog with that Cavalli sweetness
What you're referring to as the baby liquid crimson is called a liquid platinum. It currently has a projected sell price of $1500. Lets hope it can meet that price and not go up. The Liquid Ambiance is the other PCB sample on display at CanJam and its solid state at the same projected price. And for those that love the Liquid Carbon we have great news. It's getting a total redesign and it's being tested soon with an onboard DAC. All these should be available in time to stuff your Christmas stockings with well before Christmas.

Jason - does The Source have a physical location with several amps available for A/B with my headphones? I am thinking a little ahead, and might want to A/B several amps before deciding on one...
If not - any idea where can I A/B some amps? Does Cavalli have a show room / store??
