just got my er6i today, not too impressed so far, but I'm hoping maybe its just the seal. Is there anyway I can use my ex71 tips on the er6i? I shove my ex71's (w/large tips) all the way into my ear canals as far as I can get them (rather than the normal way) and it fits great so thats why I'm hoping to use those. I'm using the orange foam ones that come wiht the er6i right now, I tried using the 3 flange ones but it feels like I'm using some sort of alien torture device when I insert and remove them, and the 2-flange ones have the same problem and my ears pretty much swallow them whole (have to yank at the cord to get the buds out, and this cord doesnt look to sturdy so thats bad).

Yes you can - look in my sig for my thread on using Sony tips on UM2's... that should work.
