I have a Bellari VP530 tube phono pre-amp. ...it's just like the VP129, but has a USB port if you want to digitize your vinyl.
The pre-amp is based on the ubiquitous 12AX7 tube.
The power supply for the VP530 is rated by the manufacturer at 12-15 VDC - 700-1000mA
The factor power supply is 12vdc at 300mA
I'm no electrical engineer - but could I "upgrade" the power supply? I have a laptop power supply rated for 15v and 1.5 amp.
Would I fry the pre-amp with higher voltage and amperage?
