I have some spare Neotech 24 awg Ag/Au hookup wire kicking around from some old DIY jobs. I might make a 4 wire cable for the solaris. Hard to beat that wire.
this is interesting... please post the result... looking foward for this....

@KB, appreciate your post and explanation...
will be very happy if you often out from your mole hole... Cheers

@KB Are you going to bring a Gold cable to CanJam?

I would love to try it with my Solaris and the WM1Z there.

Bling it on!

Done :D

I’ll probably get it some time next week!

David, I would recommend Triton 8 if you want even more greater clarity and resolution but at the expense of losing some 3D effect. I have PW1960 4 core and I still think Triton 8 is one of better price to value cable. It’s affordable at $199 and the one I have is copper/ silver cable. Bass is tightened and clarity + resolution is increased by huge margin, I think easily 20% or more. This cable will thin out some of the thicker sounding iem like Phantom or Prelude. Try it, I think you’ll be surprised in a good way

Thanks for the rec, already made the jump though...

Phenomenal IEMs Phenomenal.

Shame the earpieces are so big or these would go everywhere with me and be permanently glued to my head.

As it is, I just A/Bd my Shure SE846 with my Andro S, and the difference is so massive its not even funny. So the Andros will be my out and abouts and the Solaris will live here in my flat. The Shure's can f*ck off.

@davidmolliere I read on the other thread you just got your R6 Pro. Did you hear any hiss with solaris? Thanks.

I need to listen more critically to confirm but to me hiss wis well contained and unless your turn the volume down to too low to listen I don’t hear it... but I’ll double check specifically for this.

I saw the shures losing the comparison by a large margin. Glad you agree.

I found my Solaris already surpass my tia Fourte in terms of vocal and bass (and sub-bass) quality.....resolution and layering are also in the same league..

What tips you have on your Solaris?

Hey Lookout,

Yes I will bring a set! Yes we are going and are excited about the show.

I have a customer who is a huge audiophile Uber hifi sound aficionado type. He bought the Solaris and tried all cables we sell for balanced to MMCX. The one he said was his favorite was the G16.

Anyhow I will bring :)
