Okay so after I got them I noticed that they were simply unable to produce sub-bass. Even EQed it sounded like weird vibration borderline clipping and sometimes truly clipping.
Fast forward 3 weeks and I pretty much prefer them over my Plantronics once EQed. Sub-bass is really good and it doesn't overpower mids.
To put it simply at first I was disappointed - there was midbass but almost no sub-bass. Now? Now I'm really impressed, especially for this price.
PS. I use them with spotify mainly. I know that's not lossless, but they weren't really meant for that in the first place. Using spotify EQ I boost 60hz all the way up as far as it goes. This may look silly, but it really works with those HPs if you're basshead. Bass is still separated nicely.
