Hello everyone.

I've been to the Cardas website and noticed he had a section for modding the DT770/880/990 with certain new cables. I'm a newbie when it comes to this, but I got some money to burn. I was wondering what would be the best cable upgrade for my new DT990? Is it even necessary? What sort of gain would I get in quality or difference in sound?

Did you see Head-fi member HiGHFLYin9's Mall-fi ad for headphone rewiring services?

He specializes in recabling the Beyerdynamic series and responses have been positive.

Mikey01 also has some expertise in recabling the DT990 with reportedly great results.
