Need some advice please.The Soloist 3x GT has a balance control that only operates through the pre amp outputs and not through the headphone outputs.I can use the pre amp outputs together with a couple of Canon Adapters to connect a Cardas Clear twin 3 pin headphone cable but as it is a dedicated headphone amp I am wondering if I am losing any sound quality by not using the headphone outputs.
Can I connect a DAC with volume and balance control to the headphone amp and use the balance option from the DAC,If so,how would I do this.
Any help appreciated.
