I know that the sound will always change over time with most any electronic equipment, I've just finished my MAD Ear+ and was wondering how long is a good burn-in time for a tube amp?

Yes, I used search and didn't find anything definitve.
And here's a pic.

Congrats on your Ear+! Looks lovely... I have the black as well.

Frankly, I did not notice a great deal of difference in sound from when I first listened to the Ear+ compared to after burn-in. What made more difference for me was just waiting a bit before the tubes got "armed up"... to my ears, the sound is more full when the amp has been on for at least an hour before I start to listen.

BTW: your sig is fitting...

As a fun and useful accessory, why not try the XFeed from Pink Floyd found here.

Good luck!

Thanks, boy this gives my sr-125's even more punch. The drums on Opeth's To Bid You Farewell feel like it's hitting me between the eyes...wow.
The brass and strings on orchestral has really opened up with the hd-590's, asmoothness and 3-d quality that wasn't there out of the sound card or Carver pre amp. Well worth the money, now time to up the source......

All that and those glowing tubes just look so
