Actually just did a bit more research and found this with a picture. I might try it (Amazon) even though it is large. As I posted above the case I currently have is a bit tight for my comfort.

Sure looks like it! Not the most attractive- and LARGE - however there really do not seem to be many alternatives. The soft case which comes with the P7's looks like you definitely won't be able to stand on it!
In this review it said "As similar as the P7 look to the original P7 wired, they sound completely different. In fact, they sound so fantastic that they’re a worthy upgrade even if you never use them in Bluetooth mode. That’s because B&W came up with a whole new set of transducers. I immediately noticed the difference with the first track I listened to: Adele’s “He Won’t Go” from 21. The kick drum, which was quite reserved on the original P7s, literally gave me a visceral kick on the new P7s. Bass was punchy, dynamic, and thoroughly satisfying on just about every single source and track I played. However on some tracks, I could say that the bass was".
Looking at the specs, impedance, driver size, and sensitivity are exactly the same. Which makes me think they are indeed the same driver.
Do you have an official link or statement from B&W which states that drivers are different?

I demoed both various times, both with cable on. The wireless version had more of a constant bass punch while the wired version at times had less bass.
